The QR Code: Your Link to What’s Genuine
Every accredited business and maker in the Uniquely Cook Islands program has a unique QR code. It might be on their accredited products or on a poster or card at their stall or in their shop.
When you scan it, you go straight to their official listing in the Uniquely Cook Islands registry. The registry includes a list of all the products or services accredited for that business or maker.
That means: You can check instantly that the business is a certified member and the status of their membership.
You can see which products and services have been accredited and verified as having a genuine cultural connection to the Cook Islands.
Why it matters
The QR code gives you confidence. It protects against imitation and makes sure you are supporting genuine Cook Islands culture, people, and businesses.
How to use it
- Open the camera on your phone and hover over the QR code.
- Tap the link that appears.
- Explore the official registry page to confirm accreditation of the product or service.
Look for the QR code alongside the Mark and Tokens
It’s your sign that what you’re buying is authentic and part of the Cook Islands story.
